Sabina Makhdomi

Sabina leads Zoa Fund's strategy and grantmaking, partnering with the organizations building political power for animals across the United States. Her focus is on durable, locally rooted policy work — and the movement infrastructure that turns one-off wins into lasting change.

She brings experience across the animal-protection movement, from grassroots organizing to policy and corporate campaigns, and a particular interest in coordination across the field — the convenings, capacity-building, and shared strategy that let local efforts add up to durable wins.
